About Good News International Foundation

We are a 501(c)3 evangelistic/benevolent and humanitarian organization that is committed to caring for the children and widows in Ukraine. I have been working in Ukraine since 1993. There are approximately 300,000 orphans and abandoned children in Ukraine. We are currently caring for about 3000 each month with food, clothing and medicine. We are registered in Ukraine as "Blagovest," which means Good News in the Russian Language. We were registered in 2000 as a national organization that meets all the standards and laws of Ukraine.

International Voluntary Service Activities

Over the past few years, we have shipped several containers of humanitarian aid into Ukraine. We have recently finished fitting hearing aids to all the deaf children at one orphanage in Feodosia, Ukraine. We are in the process of supplying food, housing and clothing to many street children in Ukraine. We are also providing hospital equipment to several hospitals including the Gorlovka Children's hospital. At the present time, we are seeking equipment to help start a new hospital in Ukraine.

Volunteer Profile Summary
We have a variety of volunteers that travel to Ukraine. Our medical missions include Dental, Eye care and delivery of glasses, to general medical care. All Doctors who travel are volunteers. We have an ongoing medical clinic in Ukraine with a full-time Ukraine doctor that we support with equipment and medicine.
